HVAC & plumbing software · 1–3 employees · DACH
From the job sitestraight to the invoice.
Craftfield is the simple software for plumbing, heating and HVAC businesses with 1–3 people: quotes, invoices, photos and scheduling — fully offline-capable, GoBD-compliant and ready for e-invoicing.
01 — Why Craftfield
No more paper chaos — and no more software nobody understands.
Quotes at the kitchen table
Two more hours of paperwork after a full day on site. Measurements on a notepad, prices from memory, and Excel breaks the rest.
No signal in the boiler room
Most of the work happens where there is no network. Software that insists on being online fails you exactly then.
“E-invoicing? Someday…”
XRechnung, GoBD, retention duties — the requirements are coming. The only question is whether your software keeps up.
Craftfield does 100 % of what your business needs. And nothing of what only big corporations need.
02 — Offline-first
No signal in the basement? Doesn’t matter.
Craftfield stores everything on your device first. Measurements, photos, work reports — all of it works without reception. As soon as you are back online, everything syncs automatically.
- Capture without receptionEvery feature runs locally on the device — not just a read-only mode.
- Automatic syncBack online, Craftfield syncs in the background. No button to press.
- Nothing gets lostConflicts are resolved cleanly, failed transfers retry automatically.

04 — E-invoicing & GoBD
E-invoicing is mandatory in Germany. Here, it’s built in.
Since 2025, German businesses must be able to receive e-invoices — the obligation to issue them is being phased in. Craftfield generates XRechnung 3.0 and ZUGFeRD 2.2 automatically. You write invoices as always; the rest happens in the background.
- XRechnung 3.0
- EN 16931-compliant XML for every invoice — including public-sector clients.
- ZUGFeRD 2.2
- Hybrid PDF invoice with embedded structured data.
- GoBD immutability
- Sent documents cannot be altered. Every change before that is in the audit log.
- Sequential numbering
- Document numbers without gaps, straight from a database sequence.
- PDF/A-3 & 10-year archive
- Archival format and retention exactly as the tax office expects.
05 — Your data
Your data stays with you.
Craftfield runs on your own server — for example the NAS already sitting in your office. No third-party cloud, no vendor lock-in, no recurring cloud fees. Prefer not to run anything? A hosted option is planned.
Self-hosted
Runs via Docker on Synology, QNAP or any Linux server. Your customer data never leaves the building.
Or in the cloud
No server of your own? A hosted option is planned — GDPR-compliant, located in Germany.
Always exportable
Your data belongs to you. Full export at any time, no questions asked.

07 — Who it’s for
Built for businesses with 1–3 people.
Craftfield is developed together with a master plumber — for the everyday reality between job site, office and after-hours.
The solo master
You do everything yourself — from measurement to dunning. Craftfield takes the paperwork off your hands, not the control.
Master + journeyman
One on site, one in the office. Both see the same state — even if one is standing in a basement right now.
The family business
Three people, clear roles. Appointments, jobs and hours come together instead of living on three notepads.
You have 20 installers and an IT department? Then there are better solutions. For everyone else, there is Craftfield.
08 — FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Does Craftfield really work without internet?
Yes. All data lives on your device first — writing quotes, taking photos, capturing measurements works entirely without reception. As soon as you are back online, Craftfield syncs automatically in the background.
Do I need my own NAS or server?
No. A hosted option is planned — we will take care of everything. If you have a NAS (e.g. Synology or QNAP), you can run Craftfield entirely yourself. Then your data never leaves the building.
Does it run on the phone and on the PC?
Yes. Craftfield is available as an app for Android and iOS and as a full application in the browser. Everything works on the same data.
What happens to my existing customers and articles?
Articles come straight from your wholesaler via DATANORM. For customer data we help you migrate — personally, during the pilot phase.
What does Craftfield cost?
Craftfield is not generally available yet. The prices above are a non-binding indication — pilot businesses that join early get special conditions.
Is Craftfield GoBD-compliant and ready for e-invoicing?
Yes. Invoices are generated as XRechnung 3.0 and ZUGFeRD 2.2, documents are immutable once sent, numbering is sequential, and everything is archived for 10 years in PDF/A-3 format.
Who is behind Craftfield?
